Simon on the Blogwagon

Monday, June 19, 2006

Well i thought i should get on the blog bandwagon that seems to be sending the kids crazy these days. All my friends have been saying 'Simon, your life is so interesting that we feel guilty that you are sharing it just with us and not the whole world' actually thats not entirely true or even the slightest bit true but it doesn't make it less of a fact. But really its more that i've grown sick of the disinterested look in the faces of the people i talk to, the distant stares, the rolling of the eyes, etc, so to do away with all that i've turned to the marvellous world of blogs so i no longer have to face it.
There is a 95% chance that this blog will last not more then 5 posts, but we all have to start on the road to C grade minor celebrity and i feel this could give me the exposure I so truely deserve.
I'm already blanking for stuff to write, as the modest person i am i don't feel all that comfortable writing about everything i've been doing, so I'll write the long version of what I've been doing recently and use Microsoft Work Auto Summarise to cut it down into a more consise version.

Simons Life Viewed Through The Eyes of Microsoft Word Auto Summarise:
So over the weekend i managed to do very little, i attempted to do some home screenprinting of some World Cup themed shirts, which worked ok. Long story sho.
Last night we watched the Australia Brazil game and got mildly trashed which led to a day of hangover and sleep deprevation. Australia played pretty well even though they lo.

I think i'll just spend the rest of this post on random stuff.

Mid Aged Man with Herpes - obviously honest.

I'm planning on starting a boycott of 2nur, The newcastle university radio station. This may be difficult cause i don't listen to it and no one i know listens to it, so i can't just stop listening to it, but i'm thinking of some sort of protest. My problem with it being, other then that they won't give me my own radio show no matter how many times i've never asked for one, anyway my problem is that the average age of presenter is about 113 years old, with them playing hits that my Nan calls 'Old Skool' (sic) . I think it should be aimed at Students by Students so if you want to join the crusade to make the world a better place by avoiding all the big issues drop me a line, my credit card number is 8724 4822 7474 7J3$.

Fred, poor kid, all the other brazillians get to have Ronald in their name, so he shall now be known as Ronaldfredo.
